TODI DIVE CENTER
TODI is het eerste indoor snorkel- en duikcentrum in Europa waar bezoekers in optimale en veilige omstandigheden kunnen genieten van de wondere onderwaterwereld, tussen kleurrijke tropische zoetwatervissen en levensechte decorelementen.
Een gigantisch duikbassin van 10 meter diep en 36 meter doorsnee, met meer dan 6.200.000 liter water en een temperatuur van 23° ... The Ultimate Diving Experience!
Of course, Aqualife also contributed to the beautiful building.
In 2016 we received the request to build a gigantic 8 meter aquarium. The owners quickly found confidence in Aqualife and placed the order a few weeks later.
Aqualife has a lot of experience in building large aquariums, but this was a special project.
Below you will find an impression of the project!
The idea arose to build a round aquarium. Since this is not possible from glass itself, we started looking for Acrylic glass.
But since we are not in favor of acrylic glass (aquariums) because of the cost as well as the ease of maintenance, we switched to a 'curved' aquarium divided into 4 panels.
For large or small aquariums you will always receive a drawing of what you can expect.
EVERYTHING IN-HOUSE!!!
One of our strengths is that we made everything in-house, so that we come out good price-wise. The frame was made of steel tubes of 70/70 mm with a thickness of 5 mm! The frame alone weighs 1,000 KG!

ON LOCATION
On location, the 4 front windows of 200x150 cm were placed in the aquarium and also glued (2x19 mm thick glass).
In addition to Aqualife, we have our own brand of back walls. ROCKISLAND supplies standard back walls from 40 to 200 cm in 5 different models. BUT CUSTOM MADE IS ALSO POSSIBLE.
A specific request from the customer was therefore a 3D background for the aquarium.
For this purpose, an 8-meter long ROCK structure back wall was ordered!
